Kim Kardashian has done it all when it comes to skincare.
The reality TV star, 42, told her new girlfriend Gwyneth Paltrow, 50, during a GOOP podcast that before launching SKKN by Kim she felt she was becoming a pro.

“I’ve tried everything… and I wanted to bottle that and everything I learned, work with my favorite esthetician… and create products that are next level.”
She added that she has toned down her makeup in recent years after focusing on skincare during lockdown.
The reality TV star – who created her own skincare line SKKN By Kim – has revealed the way she uses cosmetics has changed since she was forced to stay at home during the COVID-19 pandemic stay – and she now feels more confident wearing less face.

Speaking to Paltrow on her Good podcast, Kim explained that she’s decided to focus on enhancing her skin rather than covering up imperfections.
She said: “I don’t wear makeup as much as I do now that I have my skin [improved].
“I think that started in quarantine and like you didn’t have a place to go and really develop something [a skincare routine] that made me very confident….
“I love makeup, I love the process… [But] I’ve started feeling this way [wanting to strip my make-up back] because I just wasn’t like that.

“I love the process when I’m on the go, but for my everyday stuff I don’t care. I don’t care if I don’t have makeup on, I don’t care. As if I didn’t need my hair and makeup to film mine [TV] Show.’
Kim also spoke about launching her own skincare line and revealed that she wanted to use her years of experience to create a special line that actually works.
She told Gwyneth, “I love a fresh start, I love launching a brand…it’s so much work…I wanted to bring – especially launching and starting with skincare.”

The Kardashians star added, “I loved taking the time to implement this nine-step system. I do it every morning and evening. When you do it and see how glowing your skin is [you don’t feel like wearing as much make-up].’
Earlier this month she said she was getting a $1400 laser and light face combo.
The SKIMS mogul documented how she received the costly combination by sharing the process on her Instagram story.
Kim also introduced the treatment to her sister, Khloe Kardashian, 38, as they kicked off the workweek with a “sister beauty day.”

In the video snippets posted to Kim’s story, she can be seen bare-faced and wearing tanning goggles lying on a treatment table.
Wrapped in a luxurious white robe, the reality TV queen relaxed on her back while a technician ironed her skin with a wand of lasers and pulsing lights.
After the treatment, “a serum made from exosomes” was applied to her skin, which helps the skin heal by accelerating cell turnover.
“This is my second time doing the broadband light laser with the Moxi laser at @drghavami spa @gpsaesthetics,” Kim captioned her story.
“It removes sunspots and sun damage,” she explained. “It didn’t hurt me at all.”
“This is not a paid ad,” the powerhouse influencer said. “I just love the results and want to share them with you!”

But if the megastar doesn’t foot the bill, most of her 336 million Instagram followers probably won’t pay a visit to Dr. Ashkan Ghavami at GPS Aesthetics in Beverly Hills.
A broadband light treatment session with GPS aesthetics costs a whopping $600, while a Moxi laser session is in the $800 range.
Stopping the heart at $1400, the grand total of a laser and light combination treatment is certainly an A-list expense.
And yet the results seem to be paying off, as Kardashian’s angelic complexion is flawless.

“Nurse Beauty Day with Dr. Ghavami,” Kim said in an Instagram video on Monday, documenting her and Khloe’s lavish pampering day. “So you know I made the broadband light and the Moxi laser.”
“She loved it so much that I’m here now to try out the broadband light,” Khloe added.
dr Ghavami claimed the treatment would actually “reverse” the DNA and “anti-age” the person undergoing the procedure.
He explained: “It’s one of the few lasers — first of all, it takes care of reds, pigments, all that stuff, it just texturizes your skin. But it actually reverses the DNA in a sense and makes your DNA younger.’
“It can actually literally age you,” Ghavami explained.
“I’m going to give it to Khloe,” Kim said. “This could really be my Christmas present to everyone.”
