MEXICO CITY, November 1 (EL UNIVERSAL). – On these dates, celebrities from the world of entertainment try to amaze their fans with amazing characterizations and Halloween costumes. This year, Kim Kardashian decided to take inspiration from Mexican actress Salma Hayek for her transformation.
It turns out that the businesswoman and television personality has taken on the role of Satanic Pandemonium, the iconic character played by Salma Hayek in the 1996 film From Dusk Till Dawn.
In this vampire film directed by Robert Rodríguez and written by Quentin Tarantino, Salma shined as a sensual dancer known as “the scariest woman to ever dance on this earth.”
Not only did Kim recreate the risqué outfit, but she also performed a sensual routine accompanied by a snake, just like the Mexican actress did in the film.
The famous publication on Instagram in which she tagged Hayek did not go unnoticed for the actress. Salma responded enthusiastically and congratulated her: “Bravo Kim Kardashian. I feel so honored. You brought back some wild memories and a little post-traumatic stress disorder. Kim rocked it the best.”
With this in mind, the socialite was quick to respond to Salma’s reaction and expressed her admiration: “Oh my God! Salma Hayek doesn’t rule. There is no one like you! My inspiration forever.”
Although there were expressions of admiration between both celebrities, some online users did not share the same enthusiasm.
There were some who expressed their displeasure, stating that the costume and the figure belonged exclusively to the woman from Veracruz.
Comments like “I love it but I’m sorry mom, you could never move like she does in that movie,” “Salma did better,” and “She’ll never beat Salma” flooded Kim’s networks.
