According to court documents obtained by The Blast, a customer has filed a lawsuit against Kim Kardashian's clothing company. The plaintiff alleged that SKIMS “secretly deployed spyware” to access her device and install tracking software.

The woman claims to be a “consumer privacy advocate working as a tester” and claimed SKIMS secretly accessed her computer after she visited the website in 2023. She accused the thriving company of monetizing its knowledge of its visitors' activities through tracking software. and claimed that the alleged invasion of privacy had “caused both economic and non-pecuniary harm” to SKIMS.

Although Kim Kardashian owns the company, she is not being sued personally. SKIMS officials have not yet responded to the allegations.

Kim Kardashian founded SKIMS in 2019. The idea came from her own experience when she couldn't find slimming clothing that matched her skin tone. Since most shapewear brands only made their products in a few colors, she realized there was a gap in the market. Today, Kim Kardashian's company is worth $4 billion.
