Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann: Estate Enters Foreclosure and Set for Public AUCTION

The Georgia mansion of Kim Zolciak and her husband Kroy Biermann is officially under foreclosure and will be auctioned off to the public next month, March 7, TMZ reported on Friday.

The Real Housewives Of Atlanta star, 44, and former NFL pro, 37, originally bought the home in 2012 for $880,000 and is currently between $2.5 million and $2.6 million, according to the outlet.

The news comes four months after the TV personality publicly silenced rumors that the home was auctioned off for just $257,000 after it went into foreclosure.

The lavish estate was featured on both Real Housewives and Kim’s own reality show, titled Don’t Be Tardy, which aired for a total of eight seasons.

Truist Bank was asked to handle the foreclosure of the home, and action had reportedly begun as early as August when the couple defaulted on their $1.65 million mortgage.

According to TMZ, the five-bedroom, six-and-a-half-bathroom mansion is conveniently located near the 18th hole at Manor Golf and Country Club, just north of the bustling city of Atlanta.

The front of the house has a spacious circular driveway and is welcoming with impressive stonework to the outside.

Kim hosted the mansion on her own reality show, Don’t Be Tardy, which first aired in 2012, originally titled Don’t Be Tardy For The Wedding.

The mother-of-six showed off the ornate decor, which included ornate paint finishes and glittering chandeliers that conveyed a sense of opulence. Large windows offered plenty of natural light that poured in to brighten the space.

The 6,900 square foot home also includes a swimming pool with whirlpool, waterfall spa, basketball court and built-in elevator.

On March 7, the Fulton County Courthouse home will go up for public auction to the highest bidder.

Late last November, in an Instagram Stories video, Kim had denied claims that her Georgia home was auctioned for just $257,000, while claiming she still owns it and has no plans to sell it any time soon .

The reality star also claimed the actual value of her home in the town of Alpharetta, Georgia was $2.5 million, or nearly 10 times what was reportedly auctioned.

“My house didn’t sell for $257,000. If you think that I would rent my house that we invest millions and millions of dollars [into], go for $257,000, you’re an idiot, okay? Really,” a clearly upset Kim said in her video.

She didn’t appear in the short clip, instead giving her 3.3million Instagram followers a brief tour of her home and its grand staircase.

Kim also claimed that she had no intention of leaving the luxurious home until she was ready.

“So what are you gonna do haters when I’m here for Christmas and I’m here for my birthday and I’m here for all these great dates?” she asked combatively. “I’m here until I fucking want to move out. “Until I decide I don’t want to live here anymore.”

Finishing showing off part of her home, she added, “So enjoy the view, haters, because you’ll be seeing it for quite a while.”

Kim and her family had been plagued by online rumors that the home had been foreclosed on and ended up being auctioned for just $257,000.

The rumors may be based in part on reality, as the home was threatened with foreclosure back in 2014, according to a report by Page Six last month.

However, Kim and her husband Kroy paid off their outstanding debts to keep their home out of harm’s way. At the time of the foreclosure threat, they reportedly owed $10,567.67. The foreclosure notice was served two years after the house was purchased in 2012.

Regarding the current foreclosure and public auction, either Kim or Kroy has yet to publicly comment on the matter.

Angered by rumours: 'My house didn't sell for $257,000. If you think that I would rent my house that we invest millions and millions of dollars [into], go for $257,000, you're an idiot, okay? Really,
