Kim Zolciak spotted in LA claiming decision to sell her home was ‘mutual’

Kim Zolciak was spotted in Los Angeles on Thursday rocking a fun double denim look.

The 45-year-old “Don’t Be Tardy” star was seen shortly after her estranged husband Kroy Biermann petitioned a judge overseeing their divorce to allow them to own their $3 million Georgia home to sell as quickly as possible.

According to TMZ, the 37-year-old former NFL player said in court that the sale was necessary to pay off some of his growing debts.

But during their West Coast getaway, Kim claimed to photographers that it was a “mutual” decision between her and Kroy to sell the house “immediately,” although previous reports about Kroy’s proposal gave no indication of coordination between the exes had.

While chatting with the photographer, Kim went even further and hinted that she was the one who took the initiative to sell the house immediately.

Kim showed off her outstanding figure in a double denim look with a skimpy tube top that accentuated her prominent chest.

The top showed off her slim arms and flat waist, while her long, wavy blonde hair fell elegantly over her shoulders.

She complemented her top with a long denim skirt in a similar shade that reached almost to the floor, albeit with a sky-high slit that reached down to her hips, exposing her athletic legs.

The former Real Housewives Of Atlanta star completed her look with pointed yellow heels that added to her 5’10” height.

She appeared to hint that a second reconciliation with her estranged husband Kroy was not in the cards – despite rejecting her first divorce request in July – as she was seen without her wedding or engagement rings.

Kim was seen approaching a restaurant with another woman by her side when a photographer asked her about news that Kroy had asked a judge to approve the sale of her Georgia home “immediately” after they were sold earlier this year compulsory enforcement had been threatened.

After mentioning that Kroy was trying to sell the house, Kim interjected, “It’s mutual.”

He then asked her if her estranged husband had “warned” her as she walked past him, but she turned her head and shot back: “I told him what to do.”

This statement appears to contradict reports on Kroy’s record, which provide no evidence of coordination with Kim and do not appear to contain any positive references to her.

His attorney, Marlys A. Bergstrom, even says in the filing that Kim brought “financial devastation” to the family with her allegedly reckless purchases.

Bergstrom went further in a statement to Us Weekly on Thursday, suggesting that Kroy’s actions would prevent Kim from stopping the sale.

“He is asking the court to order the house to be put on the market and hopefully sold immediately,” she said. “If the court orders it, the court can enforce the order.” It takes control away from the parties. And that’s exactly what needs to be done now.”

Just a week after filing for divorce from Kim Zolciak for the second time, Kroy Biermann is now asking a judge for permission to sell their $3 million home.

According to TMZ, the 37-year-old former NFL linebacker filed paperwork asking to sell his home as soon as possible.

The documents say they are experiencing “significant financial difficulties” and that selling the home would pay off some “significant debts” the couple has accumulated over the years.

The filing also noted that he was forced to sell personal items earlier this year to avoid a February foreclosure.

Kroy said through his attorney, Marlys A. Bergstrom, that Zolciak, 45, had brought “financial devastation” to the family.

While Biermann, who played eight seasons in the NFL for the Atlanta Falcons and Buffalo Bills, managed to scrape together enough to make the monthly payments and stave off foreclosure, it was said to be a “struggle” every month.

According to the documents, Biermann sold some of his designer backpacks to raise the necessary funds, although Zolciak apparently won’t do the same.

Biermann claims he asked his estranged wife to sell some of her high-end designer handbags, which she did, although he said none of the money was used to improve her financial situation.

“Ironically, she sold handbags for herself and her daughters and other high-end fashion items, including her infamous wigs,” Biermann claims in the documents.

“However, the funds raised from the sale of these items were not used for the mortgage or other bills,” he claims.

The former football player added that they didn’t make their mortgage payments for July and will face foreclosure again if they don’t sell the home soon.

Biermann met Zolciak at a charity event in 2010 and they married in 2011 in the Roswell, Georgia home they lived in throughout their marriage.

They share Kroy Jr., 12, Kash, 11, and twins Kaia and Kane, 9, with Zolciak’s daughters Brielle, 26, and Ariana, 21, from previous relationships.

Kroy applied to adopt Brielle and Ariana in 2013, after which the two changed their last names due to the adoption.

Biermann filed for divorce in May 2023, claiming his estranged wife wasted over $1.5 million on gambling.

But just two months later, in July 2023, they withdrew the application as part of an alleged reconciliation.

However, the reconciliation didn’t last long as Biermann filed for divorce again just last week
