Amazon perfects the recipe for its famous affordable e-reader. It brings remarkable new features and benefits from a first price reduction during the sale: 84.99 euros instead of 99.99 euros.
The Amazon Kindle is one of the most popular electronic hair straighteners out there. If the last model dates back to 2019, the American firm has recently renewed its flagship model. The reader is entitled to a better resolution, more storage space, but also a switch to USB-C. Welcome changes to an already popular e-reader, especially now that it costs 15% less.

Launched at €99.99, the Amazon Kindle e-reader 2022 benefits from an initial discount mid-sale, costing €84.99 on Amazon.
An advanced reader
This new reader brings good changes, starting with its screen. The 6-inch diagonal is retained, but the screen has nearly three times as many pixels, going from 167 PPI to 300 PPI. The previous model offered a resolution of 600×800 pixels, now the new Kindle displays a resolution of 1080×1440 pixels, the same as on the Paperwhite. This makes the content much sharper. The screen also has a dark mode and an adjustable front light.
Amazon can boast of offering a very compact e-reader measuring 15.8 cm high and 10.9 cm wide and only 157.8 g. It’s also lighter as the old model weighed 174g. Its design ensures a good grip. It will also be easy to carry to accompany you in your travels, for example in transport.
Convenient functions
This little e-reader comes with 16GB of storage, which is double the old version. It will therefore be able to store a larger amount of books in digital format, around 35,000 e-books, according to the brand. You can download them from the brand’s catalog via Wi-Fi without going through your computer. E-book formats (Epub, Epub3, PDF, etc.) and images are actually present, as are CBR and CBZ digital comic formats.
Latest News: The Kindle now has a USB-C port for charging and data transfer. In addition, autonomy has been improved. According to Amazon, the e-reader lasts up to 6 weeks on a single charge.
