As the controversial fifth series of The Crown approaches, King Charles III. and Queen Consort united and in high spirits as they visited the Victoria and Albert Museum today.

The new monarch, 73, and his wife Camilla, 75, were photographed viewing his new African Fashion exhibition at London’s famous museum.

The queen consort looked sleek and stylish in a black midi dress over a white poplin shirt with puff sleeves.

She completed her sophisticated fashion with a black cape jacket as she walked through the exhibition, which celebrates creativity, ingenuity and the global impact of African fashion.

The King, on the other hand, cut a fine figure in a royal blue single-breasted suit.

He updated his colorful suit with a baby pink pocket square with a baby blue and navy pattern.

Charles matched his pocket square with his light pink tie and also wore a poppy, like the Queen Consort, ahead of Memorial Day later that month.

It comes as the 40-year-old Prince of Wales hosted the Tusk Awards earlier this week and chaired a panel discussion on developing and accelerating African-led conservation at St James’s Palace yesterday.

He appeared to be laughing with the attendees and looked more serious while listening during an event with the Tusk Conversation Awards winners.

After the awards ceremony the night before, he attended a symposium that brought together this year’s winners, alumni of previous awards and conservation experts.

The event was an opportunity for Africa’s leaders in the field to share their knowledge and experience and expertise for further collaboration.

The King later attended the Royal Africa Society Film Festival at the Embankment Garden Cinema, where he was pictured chatting with the organisation’s Chair, Arunma Oteh.

King Charles was also involved in royal engagements yesterday including a reception to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the resettlement of British Asians from Uganda.

He grinned while chatting to actor and comedian Sanjeev Bhaskar while hosting the event in Buckingham Palace’s State Dining Room.
