Kiss canceled its planned show at the Canadian Tire Center in the Ottawa suburb of Kanata on Tuesday night at the very last minute.
“Due to an unforeseen illness within the group, we cannot perform this evening. Refunds will be offered where you purchased your tickets,” the group briefly explained in a brief statement Live Nation sent to QMI Agency.
However, a few hours before going on stage, Kiss met with Ottawans.
“Ottawa, it’s your night. So get crazy and loud. See you at the Canadian Tire Centre,” the group wrote on their social media in the middle of the day.
The official Canadian Tire Center report announced the evening’s program around 4 p.m. At around 6:30 p.m. he finally confirmed the show’s cancellation.

For its part, the group had not yet turned to its social networks at the beginning of the evening to announce the cancellation.
Kiss is in the middle of a series of Canadian performances on its End of the Road farewell tour. After visits to Montreal on Saturday and Quebec on Sunday, the group was expected in Ottawa on Tuesday and Toronto on Wednesday.
