The iconic top will appear in Sotheby’s online auction called Zenith, Part I and is expected to fetch between $5 million and $7 million.
Bryant scored a whopping 645 points in six playoff, 14 regular-season, and five preseason games in the winning jersey.

The 2007-08 season jersey will beat an earlier Bryant memorabilia as his 1996-97 jersey costs $3.7 million.
“It’s rare for an athlete to push the boundaries of his sport, but Kobe Bryant is certainly one of the special few who left a lasting impact on the world,” said Brahm Wachter, Head of Streetwear and Modern Collectables at Sotheby’s.
Worn by Kobe in one of the most iconic photos of him ever taken, this jersey has seeped its way into the global popular zeitgeist and has become synonymous with Kobe’s ‘mamba mentality’.
“Sports artifacts with this kind of long-term, heavy wear and tear are a rarity in the collectible realm, as many modern items are only worn for a single game.
“The fact that Kobe has a total of 645 points in this jersey in his only MVP season over eight months is just mind-blowing.”
The shirt will be available February 2-9 alongside other sports memorabilia including items featuring NFL star Tom Brady, basketball icon Michael Jordan and tennis legend Roger Federer.
