After several complicated years on the side of traditional video games, it seems Konami is on the verge of reclaiming the beast’s hair. He actually revealed that he’s preparing a remake of Silent Hill 2 as well as the unpublished ones Silent Hill: Townfall and Silent Hill fand rumor has it he’s working on a remake of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater and the return of Castlevania with third-party studios.
After the big unboxing surrounding Silent Hill, will we be entitled to more announcements for popular franchises in the coming months? This is what Konami suggests based on remarks published in the last issue of Famitsu (reported by Gematsu). That’s what the publisher saysIt will make announcements on popular licenses in 2023while making progress in the development of secret projects.
This year is the year of the rabbit, so we are planning improvements and new developments for well-known series with the aim of jumping even further.
In addition, we are making deep and silent progress on new projects that we haven’t announced to everyone yet. Konami is taking a leap forward, so stay tuned.
