The candle smells of “black gardenia, geranium, green pepper, Timur berry, honeysuckle, ylang-ylang and oakmoss,” according to Haper’s Bazaar, which got its first look at the luxury product.

It retails at an expensive $75 for a full-size candle or $20 for a smaller votive.

“Gardenias are one of my favorite flowers. My dad used to grow them in his garden and he cut them to swim in a bowl around the house,” Kourtney, 43, told the outlet. “I also have gardenias in my outside entry and I love that they always start blooming right around my birthday.”

She added, “Every night my kids all climb into my bed and we light this candle, have a cup of chamomile tea and watch something together – there’s nothing more relaxing to end the day.”

The partnership between Goop and Poosh comes after Kourtney was accused for years of copying Gwyneth’s wildly successful business model.

Paltrow, 49, brushed aside the notion that the pair should be in competition and thinks there’s room for everyone.

“I think part of the power of patriarchy is because it creates this notion of a lack of women and competition for women,” Paltrow said. “We’re programmed to think, ‘Oh, there’s not enough room for me and someone else,’ or ‘Someone is going to take my husband,’ or ‘Someone is going to take what’s mine.”

“We ran into some of that when Poosh started and I thought it was so ridiculous because I don’t know how [Kourtney] I thought about it, but I thought, ‘Women are allowed to be interested in the same field and start businesses, and it doesn’t have to be that one takes something from the other or undermines the other in any way,’ said the Oscar winner.

In 2020, Paltrow created a GOOP candle called This Candle Smells Like My Vagina, which retailed for $75 and sold out instantly, though the name shocked the country.

“This candle started out as a joke between perfumer Douglas Little and GP – the two were working on a fragrance and she blurted out, ‘Uhhh… that smells like a vagina’ – but evolved into a fun, adorable, sexy and beautiful scent that was more unexpected.” Scent,” says the product description.

She followed up with an equally popular one: This Smells Like My Orgasm.

Always on the alert, Gwyneth poked fun at the article by taking a bite of the scented candle in one of Uber Eats’ Super Bowl ads this year.

In the clip, the 49-year-old actress nibbled on the candle, noting, “This candle tastes weird. Not bad, but fun.”

While recently hosting a Q&A with her 8million followers, the Iron Man actress clarified that she believes the “wellness business” has room for every woman after a fan asked her if she was upset that Kourtney’s brand Poosh “copied” her.

“This idea that women need to be competitive is a legacy of patriarchy ***,” she wrote, adding, “@kourtneykardash is a really good person and so is #KRAVISFOREVER.”

“Kravis” is the nickname for Kourtney and her husband Travis Barker, 46, whom she married in a lavish ceremony in Italy today.

“There is room for EVERY woman to fulfill her dreams,” the Ironman actress continued.

The Oscar winner admitted she can understand why some people view the situation through a competitive lens.

“I fell victim to that mindset years ago, so I understand where it’s coming from,” she admitted.

“Now I’m so happy when I see new wellness companies that there’s a place for all of us,” she said.

Paltrow launched Goop in September 2008 as a weekly email newsletter with wellness and lifestyle advice and insights into the star’s life.

The company’s name was inspired by author Peter Arnell, who reportedly told the star that all successful internet companies have double-Os in their names.

Goop has grown over the years, creating a website and specializing in e-commerce, pop-up shops, wellness summits, a print magazine, a podcast, and most recently a Netflix docuseries.

In addition to pop-up stores, the brand also has five brick-and-mortar locations where they sell the actress’ famous This Smells Like My Vagina candle, as well as GOOP brand G. Label clothing and other products.

Meanwhile, in March 2019, Kourtney launched her lifestyle website, Poosh.

The site offers articles, healthy recipes, product recommendations and advice on topics such as fashion, fitness and wellness.
