Socialite Kourtney Kardashian married drummer Travis Barker this weekend in Portofino, Italy, in a ceremony worthy of a royal family. The bride wore a dress signed by the Italian brand Dolce & Gabanna with a surprising veil: an embroidery of the Virgin Mary on the veil and the words “Family, Loyalty and Respect”.

The ceremony took place at an oceanfront complex owned by Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana, which is also where the entire Kardashian family resides. The couple also rented the Castello Brown, a 16thcentury building, for the reception. The castle has a privileged view of the sea and has been used for military defense since Roman times.

According to TMZ, this is the third wedding celebration for the two. Kourtney and Travis already said “yes” at a ceremony held in Santa Barbara, United States, last weekend. The two were seen leaving the magistrate’s court. But only in the Italian province did the big celebration for the Kardashian clan take place.

Kourtney and Travis Barker organized a full weekend of events in the region. As published on People magazine’s website, the two hosted guests for dinner on Friday before the ceremony (20th) and offered lunch on a yacht on the eve of the wedding. The couple welcomed Kourtney’s sisters and the bride’s nephews.
