All actions have a precursor, and the precursor of any action in this regard can only be the expression of the will of the residents of these regions, these areas of Ukraine, the senior Russian official commented, according to the TASS news agency.
He also stated that “without the expression of the will of the inhabitants of these areas, nothing can be done, unless they decide how and with whom they want to go on living”.
Referring to the support of Russian troops in the Ukrainian areas under their control, he explained that in those areas “you just have to provide life support, you have to provide social security. There shouldn’t be a break.”
The head of the Kremlin’s press office noted the importance of these measures, which he described as a priority because, he said, “many of these areas are now without electricity, sanitation and water.”
Earlier, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Marat Yuznullin commented on the control over the work of the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant, while Secretary of the General Council of the United Russia party Andrei Turchak spoke about the future of the Kherson region.
On May 11, the deputy head of the military and civilian administration of this Ukrainian region, Kiril Stremousov, stated that local authorities will urge Russian President Vladimir Putin to incorporate the area into the Eurasian nation.
He noted that the intention is to ask the Russian President to introduce Kherson as a full subject of the Russian Federation by the end of the year, based on a legal basis that they are preparing that justifies the proposal.
