(CNN) – Kris Jenner opened up about infidelity in her marriage to her late ex-husband Robert Kardashian.
Jenner has previously spoken out about cheating on her first husband. In the latest episode of “The Kardashians,” he reveals why he made this decision.
In a conversation with her daughter Khloé Kardashian, Jenner said she was “very young and stupid” back then and didn’t fully understand the consequences of infidelity.
“But what didn’t my dad do that made you look elsewhere?” Khloé asked.
“He was a great husband and a great father, and I think I got into a situation where I thought the grass was greener somewhere else,” Jenner replied.
He added that her affair was his “biggest regret” in life, but that “everything happens for a reason.”
Jenner and Robert Kardashian divorced in 1991. She later married Bruce Jenner, an American Olympic medalist who came out as a transgender woman in 2015 and has since gone by the name Caitlyn Jenner.
Kris and Caitlyn have two daughters: Kendall and Kylie. They divorced in 2014.
