Kurz becomes advisory board member of Trumps son in law

Kurz becomes advisory board member of Trump’s son in law Kushner’s Middle East Institute

After opening offices in Israel and Dubai, the former Chancellor has now been named the sole European representative on the Advisory Board of the Abraham Accords Peace Institute.

The Middle East Institute, largely unknown in this country, was founded by Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner, husband of Ivanka Trump. Kusher, Trump’s top adviser at the time, is considered to be the main initiator of the “Abraham Accords”. They are agreements concluded under the auspices of Trump between Israel, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain and later also Sudan and Morocco. It is always about normalizing the relationship between these countries.

Kurz says of his commitment: “The Abraham Accords were a historic milestone and achieved what was previously considered impossible. I am therefore delighted to have the opportunity, as part of the Advisory Board of the Abraham Accords Peace Institute, to contribute to improving relations between Israel and the Arab world. I hope many countries will follow suit.”

In addition to Kurz and Jared Kushner, the said advisory board also includes Joe Lieberman, a former Democratic senator and former US presidential candidate, as well as representatives from Israel and states that have already signed bilateral agreements with Israel. The institute took on the task of supporting the implementation of existing agreements and promoting the signing of new agreements.

Sebastian Kurz’s role will be to promote more support in Europe for the development of the Abrahm Accords and, at the same time, further promote dialogue between Israel and the Arab States in his professional activities in the region, according to people close to him.
