Zelensky would step into the ring against Putin
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky would like to step into the ring at any time for a duel with Kremlin chief Vladimir Putin (70). “Always, always,” he said in response to a question in an interview with French TV station TF1 on Sunday. “A real man, if he wants to say something to someone, or if he wants to – how to say, punch him in the face – then he does it himself and doesn’t send any intermediaries.”
He himself would not need intermediaries for this, Zelensky emphasized. He is always open to such suggestions. Is he ready for a duel with Putin? “Tomorrow, as far as I’m concerned,” laughed Zelensky. “This will be the last summit of the President of the Russian Federation.”
The starting point for this discussion was a report in the newspaper “Le Monde”, according to which French President Macron had told his Russian counterpart Putin that he was now going to fight boxing. Putin then recommended that he imagine hitting Zelensky in the process.
