Kylie Jenner shared a glimpse into the past with an old-fashioned family Christmas card on Thursday, causing confusion among some of her 399 million Instagram followers.
The 26-year-old cosmetics mogul, who recently terrified her fans with a TikTok filter that made her look like Justin Bieber, posted a black-and-white family photo to her account that looked like it was taken somewhere early became the Kardashian-Jenner clan's first reality show, Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
But it was the second shot, in which the card's text was enlarged, that confused her fans and followers the most.
After a nice message to their friends and family, the “Jenners and the Kardashians” said goodbye with all names except the unknown name: “Casey”.
“Who is Casey?” one fan asked in the comments.

A second shot of the card's text confused fans as it listed the entire family as well as someone named “Casey.”
Kylie also appeared to have cropped the photo above and left that person out at the end
“Everyone is wondering who Casey is and what they did to her,” another user summarized.
Another fan, apparently noticing that there was no one who could have been a “Casey” in the photo, joked: “Is Casey in the room with us?”
The picture showed Kris Jenner and her wife Caitlyn Jenner before their transition, along with Kris' older children Kourtney, Kim, Khloé and Rob – formalized as Robert – Kardashian, along with Kris and Caitlyn's younger daughter Kendall and Kylie Jenner.
The mysterious “Casey” referred to a missing half-sibling, Caitlyn's daughter Cassandra Marino, who sometimes goes by the diminutive nickname.
The Olympic champion shares her daughter, now 43, with her first wife Chrystie Scott, to whom she was married from 1972 to 1981.
The couple also has an older son, Burt Jenner, 45, whose name wasn't even in the photo.
A few days after her first divorce was finalized, Caitlyn married Linda Thompson, with whom she gave birth to two sons: Brandon and Brody Jenner, whose names and photos were both missing from the Christmas card.
Cassandra's ghostly presence on the map, as well as the complete absence of her other children from her previous marriages, may be related to her alleged estrangement from many of her children.

It's not clear whether Kylie left out “Casey” to protect her privacy, as she has kept a lower profile than her siblings over the years, or out of animosity. But Caitlyn's children from her first two marriages all refused to participate in her reality show years earlier
In a 2015 interview for CBS's “This Morning,” Buzz Bissinger, the journalist who wrote Caitlyn Jenner's Vanity Fair cover story that year announcing her name change following her gender transition, shared that her older children had refused to take part in her reality series “I Am Cait”.
“This was a difficult decision for them because these are Jenner children who are trying to reconnect with their father after a long, long absence,” Bissinger said, via Page Six.
Cassandra, an interior designer, is even more inconspicuous than the rest of her siblings.
Several fans who figured out who “Casey” meant took to the comments to wonder why it was Kris and Caitlyn, including them – even though Cassandra wasn't in the family photo – as Burt, Brandon or Brody not even mentioned.
However, some eagle-eyed fans noticed that the image Kylie posted appeared to be cropped, and the second image of the text showed the bottom of the photo while also suggesting the silhouette of another person to Rob's right, which may have been Kassandra.
It's unclear whether Kylie cut the figure out to protect her half-sister's privacy or because of a family conflict.
“Then why didn't they assign Bruce's daughter to his sons?” one user mused in the comments.
“I would be offended if my name was there but not my photo,” another fan joked.
During a 2019 episode of The Hills: New Beginnings, Brody Jenner confessed that he “didn't really grow up” with Caitlyn as a stable parenting figure.
In 2019, Brody Jenner recalled barely seeing Caitlyn as a child after she married her third wife, Kris Jenner, and he later vowed to do the “exact opposite” by being the “absolute best father” to her first child he welcomed with his fiancée Tia Blanco in July; Seen in 2016
“When I was really little, we were allowed to spend a little time together. But if [she] I started the family with the Kardashian family and all that, which I didn't really see much of [her]' he continued.
In August, he reflected on how he wanted to approach parenthood with his fiancée Tia Blanco after they welcomed their first child in July.
'[Caitlyn] “There wasn’t really anything for me as a kid,” he shared in a YouTube clip.
The reality star said he plans to do the “exact opposite” of Caitlyn by “being the absolute best dad I can be and getting ready for the trip and just so excited.”
