Kylie Minogue’s comeback album Tension becomes one of the most celebrated of the pop princess’ career, receiving rave reviews from fans and critics
Australian pop princess Kylie Minogue has been delighting fans around the world for decades.
And according to initial reviews, the 55-year-old singer’s new album “Tension” is likely to be her most successful to date.
DIY Mag gave the album a perfect score, writing: “There is no pretense to its greatness, just our Kylie humbly proving once again how easily she can strike gold and transform into a pop culture phenomenon.”
Rolling Stone gave the album four out of five stars and called it “brilliantly fun.”
Retropop, meanwhile, claimed that the music “exudes joy and not only shows the pop legend truly full of energy, but also delivers her strongest vocals in a long time.”

Kylie’s new offering was also praised on social media, with one fan account on X (formerly Twitter) sharing a compiled graphic of all the critical praise for the album:
“Kylie Minogue’s widely acclaimed album ‘Tension’ will be released at midnight your local time. It is currently shaping up to be one of the most critically acclaimed albums of her career!’
The post received many replies and retweets agreeing with this unanimous verdict.
“She is experiencing a new career peak; “A hit, an acclaimed album, sold out shows,” one commenter responded.
DIY Mag gave the album a perfect rating and wrote, “There is no pretense to its greatness.”

After more than a decade, Minogue recently made a triumphant return to the UK Top 10 with her hit single Padam Padam.
The rousing track not only marked her comeback but also gave her a new wave of loyal fans, jokingly referred to as ‘Padam-ic’.
Her cheeky new song “Tension” also received an enthusiastic response from fans.
The recent smash success comes alongside Kylie’s recent announcement of a Las Vegas residency, which sold out within hours of tickets becoming available.

Kylie says she hasn’t chosen a setlist yet, but wants it to have some surprises in store.
“What we imagine is that you enter this space and you are transported,” the Come Into My World singer said.
“I have a lot of work to do choosing the setlist and making sure I include a few surprises.”
