The Australian pop princess, 55, is also making waves online as the single went viral on TikTok and her lyrics ‘Padam’ even made it into the Urban Dictionary.
According to the dictionary, “Padam” is “an onomatopoeia for the sound a heartbeat makes when you’re a diva who kills, coined by Kylie Minogue.”
One of the few musicians to have a long-standing pop career whose hits continue to get radio airplay, Kylie is undeterred by the societal pressures placed on middle-aged women.

It’s the first time the 55-year-old has had a top ten hit in the UK since Higher, along with Taio Cruz, peaked at number 8 in 2011.
