Tertulinho doesn’t accept Candoca’s proposal. Maruan chases Kaleb out of town and Labibe kisses him. Sabá offers to help Timbó inspect the excavations. Tertulinho is irritated when he learns that Deodora has sent Xaviera away and wants to look for her. Xaviera is surprised to receive a kiss from Tertulinho. Maruan tells Labibe that he will not leave her. The Colonel decides to give Catão some land. Hallelujah is shocked by the meeting between Floro, Vespertino, Janjão and Zelelão to celebrate the mayoralty. José asks the Colonel for a lock of hair for a DNA test. Candoca’s doctor friend arrives at Palmeiral farm and Catão is suspicious. The Colonel throws Levi off his farm.
