Lady Gaga tried to stay incognito in a black trench coat, matching baseball cap and oversized sunglasses while visiting pal Tony Bennett in New York City.

As she prepared to meet her frequent collaborator, who recently turned 96, the 36-year-old pop star kept a low profile while keeping her head down as she strolled down the sidewalk in a pair of sky-high black leather ankle boots and jeans in a light wash.

She also wore pink lipstick for the occasion and kept her platinum blonde pulled back in an elegant ponytail.

“Thank you to all the Grammy voters who recognize Tony’s and I’s dedication to jazz music and also recognize it in important categories where this music is often not nominated.

“This album came about because it was Tony’s idea and I promised him we would make it and we did it. At 95 he has more nominations than ever, I am so honored to be his musical companion and friend.
