The center missed the Baltimore Ravens’ last six games last year, including the first-round playoff match against the Cincinnati Bengals, with a knee injury.

“Let’s be real for a moment,” Jackson tweeted Tuesday. I’d rather my knee be 100% than my game being terrible and putting my teammates in a bad position. Now they’re telling me I’m selfish.”

“I don’t remember making a decision not to play the Jets in the first week. [de New York] in week 12 against Broncos [de Denver], he also said. How is it possible that I suddenly want to stop playing for financial reasons when I could have injured myself during this time. Everyone knows I’ve only been thinking about the Super Bowl since 2018.”

Jackson did not accompany his teammates to Cincinnati, which was interpreted by several Ravens fans as an affront. The footballer also returned to this case.

“After traveling to Pittsburgh with the team for a game, my knee became swollen. I had interviews and got a residence permit [à la maison] try to recover faster.

Earlier this week, Jackson revealed he had asked the Ravens to trade him for another NFL roster.

The 26-year-old is currently a free agent, but the Maryland roster has given him a non-exclusive franchise tag. This feature allows the Ravens to match an offer Jackson would accept from another NFL team or receive compensation or draft picks if they decide to let him go.

Jackson has been recognized as one of the most exciting footballers in the NFL since he was a starter, which was the 2019 campaign earlier this year.

Limited to 12 games in 2022, the quarterback completed 62.3% of his passes for 2,242 yards and 17 touchdowns. He also mustered 764 yards and three majors with his legs.
