Lamar Odom opens up about his relationship with Kris Jenner, praises her business acumen and more during his new Fox TV special, Sex, Drugs and the Kardashians.
The 43-year-old former NBA star – who was married to Khloe Kardashian from 2009 to 2016 – spoke out about Jenner, 67, and managed him for a time.
While praising Jenner’s business acumen… he also revealed that it was Jenner who told Odom that Khloe would be on SoulCycle, leading to Odom being accused of stalking Khloe.

When TMZ founder Harvey Levin asked how he was with Jenner, Odom revealed, “I used to call her Ma. She showed a lot of love. she was cool I loved her.’
Adding that they all did business together, Levin asked if doing business with his then-mother-in-law was “brutal.”
‘Yes. I mean, I was married to my wife at the time, you know what I mean? I feel comfortable enough to do it. I’m lucky enough to do that,’ said Odom.

Odom added, “I don’t think people really give them credit for their family dynamic. The family is going to go through shit, and I think they’ve handled that shit phenomenally well.
Odom and Khloe Kardashian began dating in August 2009 after meeting at a party hosted by Odom’s Los Angeles Lakers teammate Ron Artest (now known as Metta Sandiford-Artest), and tied the knot just a month later, in September 2009 , the bond for life.

Khloe filed for divorce in December 2013 after Odom was arrested on DUI charges, although she withdrew the divorce petition after he was discovered unconscious at Bunny Ranch in Nevada in October 2015.
Kardashian eventually filed for divorce again in May 2016, which was finalized in December 2016.
Odom made headlines in 2015 when he was spotted outside of SoulCycle with Khloe when paparazzi showed up and Odom was later accused of “stalking” Khloe.

Odom revealed to Levin that it was Kris Jenner herself who told him where Khloe would be that day.
“As far as I can remember, I’m a little foggy, but as far as I can remember, she sort of made it up to me meeting Khloe down at SoulCycle,” Odom began.
“You know, I get down there and she kind of treated me like she didn’t know me, which was a little hurtful. And then she was kind of like she was going to make a scene and then paparazzi came out of nowhere. So I’m kind of, like… I’m hurt by this,” Odom admitted.

He added that it later emerged that he was “trying to put my hands on her or something.”
He added that he was “really hurt and then I got defensive,” while “doing a scene” with a cameraman outside TMZ’s offices in August 2015.
Levin added, “It sounds like you’ve been set up by Kris,” though Lamar wonders how she’d get out of it.

“But what would you set up? I’m thinking, okay, like, if you tried that, like, why, or… like, what would you– what would you get out of it?’ said Odom.
He added, “Try to ruin me or not make me stop coming around or make people think a certain way about me or a thug, I don’t know.”
Two months after the incident, Odom finally signed the divorce papers he had been putting off, and he went to Bunny Ranch in a night that nearly ended his life.
