Lance Bass has opened up about how “weird” it was having to communicate with Britney Spears through a third party after the pop star met his twin children.
Bass, 44, and husband Michael Turchin, 36, welcomed son Alexander and daughter Violet as surrogate mothers in October 2021, just a month before Britney stepped down from her controversial guardianship.
Though he didn’t specify exactly when their exchange took place, the NSync singer detailed how the 41-year-old “Sometimes” singer met his kids — before the plans called off.
“She got in touch through her people and wanted to meet the kids and stuff like that,” Bass revealed on his Frosted Tips podcast.
“Then people don’t follow and refuse to contact you,” interjected a man who appeared to be Michael.

“You have to talk through people,” he asserted. ‘It’s very strange.’
These days, Lance has no idea how Britney is doing, but has a hard time believing rumors that she doesn’t want to tour again.
“I don’t know what to believe because I don’t know about her,” he said. “I mean, maybe she’s completely overwhelmed, but I just know how much she loves it, and I know she’s a competitive person too, so I can’t imagine she’ll never perform again.”
This all comes just days after exclusively reported that Britney has agreed to let Sean Preston, 17, and Jayden, 16, move to Hawaii with her ex Kevin Federline.
The singer may be trying to reconcile with her teenage sons, whose relationship has been strained lately.
Her sons weren’t at their wedding last year, where she tied the knot with Sam Asghari, and she has reportedly not seen them for several months.
Spears recently met up with her mother, Lynne Spears, in Los Angeles, ostensibly to try to mend their relationship. So maybe Spears is trying to reconcile with her sons.
It was reported last month that Federline, 45, and his wife Victoria were planning a move to Hawaii, taking Sean and Jayden with them.
Reportedly, Victoria – to whom K-Fed has been married since 2013 – has been offered a job at a Hawaiian university and Federline would have plenty of DJ opportunities there as well.

Federline’s attorney, Mark Vincent Kaplan, sent a letter to Spears’ attorney, Matthew Rosengart, asking if she would allow her sons to move to Hawaii with him and Victoria full-time.
Federline has 100% custody of his children and 100% de facto custody of his children. His attorney claims Britney has not seen either son for more than a year.
The letter asked for a response by the end of the week, and if she didn’t respond, Federline’s attorney would go to court and ask a judge’s permission.
Last week it was reported that Federline was ready to take this to court, but reported that Spears had agreed and the move is said to be set for August 1st.

A source told that Spears has “always been a loving and supportive mother” and has never spoken out against the move.
“Britney loves her children, has always supported them and wants them to be happy.”
“Apart from being an icon, loved and respected by millions around the world, she was a loving and supportive mother who was faithfully supportive of her children.”
The source also accused Federline of starting a “false argument,” adding that Spears never interfered with his plans to move to Hawaii.
Last year, the singer admitted “a part of her died” as she hadn’t seen her sons in six months and they didn’t attend her wedding to Sam.
