In the next few chapters, Caio becomes angry when he confronts his husband. Dalva (Patricia Pinho) and force the former La Selva employee to reveal who ordered the crime that killed his brother.

Ernesto denies the allegations, but Antônio’s eldest son insists that the mechanic is guilty:
“You’re lying,” he says, completely upset.
Marino asks Caio to calm down and promises to ask all the necessary questions at the police station.
“But they can’t arrest me! I didn’t do anything! (…) Who said that I sabotaged the brakes? There is no proof,” argues Ernesto.
“I have the forensic report that proves the brakes were tampered with. And you were the last person to touch her,” the police officer warns.

Seeing the scene, Caio explodes again, reminding the suspect that he almost died trying to investigate the case:
“But you’re really cynical! Everyone knows you were the last person to touch that car! There’s no idiot here, Ernesto, so stop slowing down and confess! Everyone already knows that it was you! Now all you have to do is say who he is.” I told you to do that.
“Badface… You know, yeah! When I visited you, you warned the mastermind and they tried to kill me! Then they almost managed to end my uncle’s life! There is a mastermind! I want to know his name.” .
“He is an accomplice in three murder attempts! He will end up in prison for someone else’s crime if he doesn’t extradite the client.”

Caio realizes that Ernesto is afraid to tell everything he knows:
“I understand, the person you represent must be very powerful, right? Is it him or not?”
“By remaining silent, you are only confirming that you are someone powerful.”
Although he is desperate, Ernesto does not give in and warns:
“Delegate, I will say no more in his presence.”
