A former California police chief who was riding a bicycle was allegedly intentionally struck by a motorist before losing his life on August 14.
According to Las Vegas police, Andreas Probst, a 64-year-old retiree, was killed after he was intentionally hit while riding his bike at 6 a.m.
According to the Las Vegas Review-Journal, the 17-year-old boy who was driving the vehicle was arrested in the hours after the crime. The teenager was charged with murder.
Officers discovered video of the crime, which occurred on North Tenaya Way near West Centennial Parkway.

The footage went viral on social media. It is possible for the driver to say to the passenger, “Are you ready?” The latter, who was filming the scene, replied: “Hit him.” The driver then hit Andreas Probst and quickly fled.
“Damn, he was really unconscious,” the passenger said after the collision. The New York Post did not know whether the latter was charged in this case.
The victim was thrown violently backwards. The sixty-year-old died from his injuries in hospital.
