QUBEC, Nov. 1, 2023 /CNW/ – The Government of Qubec wants to hear from and work with the Quebec ecosystem to strengthen Qubec’s cybersecurity. He therefore announced the holding of a public consultation on cybersecurity.
Organized by the Minister of Cybersecurity and Digital Affairs, this public consultation will allow the Government of Quebec to survey a large number of stakeholders as well as the general population on cybersecurity issues and needs. Municipalities, private companies, public organizations, non-profit organizations, the university and research community as well as citizens are invited to express their opinions.
The consultation will take place from November 1st to 30th via the government platform Consultation Qubec. To encourage participation by as many people as possible, respondents have the opportunity to answer an online questionnaire or submit a letter using a predetermined template.
The information collected will make it possible to determine strategic areas of intervention and propose concrete initiatives to strengthen cybersecurity in Quebec.
