biography
After winning the Teen Agers International Competition in Cavalese, Laura Freddi landed her first role in cinema in 1990, in the film Pink October at Arbat. However, success came the following year when she was launched at the age of 19 by the famous Gianni Boncompagni program It’s not Raiwhere he stays for two seasons, after which he leads Belli Freschi along with him Paolo Bonolis. In the following years, given the popularity achieved, Freddi became the face of several programs such as Striscia la storia, il Festivalbar, Bulli e pupe and many others, releasing his first three singles, Tempo di vita , Per non to fly (written by Enzo Iacchetti) and chills. In the late ’90s he co-directed Il Quizzone with Gerry Scotti and directed Super, Italia 1’s music program.
Between 2001 and 2005 he was part of the cast of Buona Domenica alongside Maurizio Costanzo, Claudio Lippi and Gerry Scotti Luca Laurenti, while in 2002 he starred in the TV movie The Girls of Miss Italy directed by Dino Risi. In 2004 he continues to collaborate with Buona Domenica as the protagonist of the sitcom Il condominio, which will be broadcast during the show. From the second half of the 2000s, Laura Freddi mainly directed events and evenings, particularly related to the world of fashion and cinema, and from 2011 she also made her debut as a radio announcer for Radio 1 with programs such as No Comment or Lido Laura.
After a brief stint in theater, Freddi returns to television in 2015 as a competitor to Tale and as a show, before starring in Big Brother Vip in 2016. In 2022 he returns to the transmission of Alfonso Signorini, this time in the role of temporary commentator for some episodes to replace Sonia Bruganelli.
