Laura Lynch, one of the founding members of country music giant the Dixie Chicks, has died.

According to TMZ, Lynch died in a car accident outside El Paso, Texas. She was 65.

Her cousin, Mick Lynch, announced that she died Friday while driving from El Paso to Dell City.
