Laval transforms under the moonlight and you have the opportunity to experience this star experience, completely free of charge! The Laval Nature Center is home to the extraordinary “Museum of the Moon,” a spectacular work by British artist Luke Jerram.

You can marvel at a dazzling replica of the moon that hangs majestically over the lake, shining like a celestial beacon in the sky. This shimmering seven-meter-diameter moon was created from high-resolution photos taken by NASA. Every detail accurately reflects the splendor of our nightly star.

But wait, that’s not all! A range of fascinating and entertaining activities await you to immerse you in the world of astronomy. Discover the secrets of the moon with interactive workshops offered by the Cosmodôme and the Laval Amateur Astronomers Club. The Jean-Marc-Richard Astronomical Observatory also opens its doors to you so that you can further explore the mysteries of the universe.

Art lover? Then you will love the lunar crater drawing workshop organized by visual artist Bettina Forget. And don’t forget to take a tour to learn more about Luke Jerram and his fascinating work.
