Laverne Cox made a stunning entrance at the 48th Annual People’s Choice Awards in Santa Monica on Tuesday.
The 50-year-old Orange Is The New Black actress flaunted her elegant sense of style as she walked the star-studded red carpet at Barker Hangar.
The talented star took on hosting duties for E! Live From The Red Carpet and had the opportunity to interact with numerous celebrities at the ceremony.

The actress opted for elegance by wearing an olive butterfly princess dress by Collina Strada, which was fitted at the top and flowed to the floor in a full skirt.
Laverne slipped on a pair of closed silver heels that added a contrasting edge to the look.
To accessorize her striking dress, the star wore a gold leafy necklace and dainty earrings with gold hoop earrings.
Her hair was in a stylish updo, her side bangs falling slightly on her forehead.

Laverne’s makeup was classically done and consisted of golden shimmery eyeshadow, a layer of black eyeliner, mascara and a light pink color on her cheeks.
To add the finishing touch to her overall ensemble, the Inventing Anna actress added a pink lipstick to her lips.
She appeared to be having a blast as she flaunted her dress and struck a series of poses for the cameras.
The star was given hosting duties for E! Live From The Red Carpet, where she had the chance to speak briefly with stars as they arrived at the ceremony.
The actress is E! no stranger and has her own show with the network called If We’re Being Honest With Laverne Cox, where she sits down and has intimate conversations with talented stars.

Laverne had a quick chat with Shania Twain, who during the awards ceremony gave a mashup performance of her hits over the years and received the Music Icon Award.
“Fold your own path and never be intimidated,” the talented singer told Laverne while offering advice to aspiring artists, E! News.
“Stay strong through intimidation. I think this store definitely has enough of that. And life in general has a lot of intimidations,” added the hitmaker, who doesn’t impress me much.
Laverne also spoke to Ryan Reynolds, who received the People’s Icon Award for his years of service in the industry, on the red carpet.

“I’ve seen people being brutalized and I’ve seen people defied it,” he informed Laverne. “So I was very fortunate that it all happened very, very slowly for me and I feel like it’s still happening very slowly.”
The presenter was seen posing for snaps with fellow celebrities including Sarah Michelle Gellar and Selling Sunset’s Chrishell Stause.
Along with her recent engagement with E! News, the star will also appear in the upcoming film adaptation called Uglies, starring actress Joey King.
The premise follows, according to IMDB: “A world where forced surgery erases physical differences and makes everyone pretty”.
The feature film is currently in post-production and is based on Scott Westerfield’s bestselling book of the same name. The sci-fi film is set to premiere on Netflix next year in 2023.
