Sputnik World During his visit to Kenya, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov responded to a question from a Sputnik correspondent on the African Peace Initiative over the Ukraine crisis:
“As for the African initiative, Washington and London, as they have stated publicly more than once, may not be able to accept anything other than Zelenskyy’s socalled ‘peace formula’, which they advocated and demanded in all G7, NATO and EU documents. “Everybody sticks to it. I would like to remind you that this formula means the withdrawal of Russian troops and the withdrawal of Russia from all areas Crimea, Donbass and other new areas Zaporozhye and Kherson regions. After that, a court against Russia and against the Russian leadership. And then the payment of socalled reparations. And only after that Ukraine will mercifully agree to signing a peace treaty,” Lavrov said.
“Considering this, Zelenskyy said two or three years ago: If anyone among Ukrainian citizens feels Russian, then he should go to Russia for the sake of the future of his children and grandchildren. Namely, given what Mr. Danilov and Mr. Podolyak said, that after their return from Crimea and the eastern territories of Ukraine, they would destroy everything Russian there, including the physical destruction of Russian citizens.
