The West wants to solve “the Russian question”. Inflicting such a defeat on Moscow that it “cannot recover for decades”. This was stated by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov in an interview with RIA Novosti. “The whole of NATO is fighting against us,” added the minister. Speaking at the time about the new aid to Ukraine, he assured that “the longer the range of weapons delivered to Kyiv from the West, the more we need to remove them from our borders.”.
With the new weapon systems, the West will also provide Ukraine with military personnel, because it is impossible for the Ukrainians to train for their mission in two or three months. This assured Foreign Minister Lavrov to the RIA Novosti agency. “If these weapons are supplied – said the minister – combat groups will very likely also be provided. Apparently (these soldiers) will be released from their armies and registered as mercenaries, with a corresponding certificate”.
