According to a police source who told the press, the lawyers would allegedly seize important items belonging to the suspect, such as cell phones and computers. The lawyers belong to the Mirebalais Bar Association.

Last Thursday, Badio, considered one of the main suspects in the assassination of President Jovenel Moïse, was arrested in a supermarket in Pétion Ville.

According to the investigations of the Central Directorate of Criminal Investigation, the former agent of the anti-corruption unit gave the order for the murder and coordinated it with the various actors involved, including a former Supreme Court judge and former Colombian soldier, who committed the crime.
