In a statement this morning, Hezbollah confirmed the attack on an enemy army center in the Shtoula area with guided missiles.
According to reports, the military action resulted in several enemy casualties, including one dead and one wounded.
The operation is in response to the martyrdom of photographer Issam Abdullah and the injuries of several communications professionals, as well as the bomb attack that damaged a house in Shebaa yesterday and caused the death of two citizens.
In parallel, the resistance carried out a new attack on the Israeli site of Raheb by setting it on fire and raising the Hezbollah flag, an action in response to the constant Israeli bombardment of the Lebanese border villages.
Likewise, at the same location, the combatants hit a Merkava tank with guided missiles, resulting in casualties among the crew.
The enemy army, for its part, continued to bomb border towns, targeting the outskirts of the cities of Rmeish, Ramia and Aita al-Shaab.
According to press reports, the Tel Aviv military unit asked settlers in settlements near the Lebanese border to stay in temporary shelters.
At the same time, after shelling the settlement of Shtoula, the enemy decided to isolate the border area within the occupied territories for a distance of four kilometers.
In this scenario, Hezbollah announced the death of fighter Hussein Kamal Al Masri due to the injuries he sustained as a result of Israeli aggression in the south.
The death of journalist Giselle Khoury, who was injured in an attack by the Israeli military while on duty on Friday, was also confirmed.
A climate of tension has prevailed on Lebanon’s southern border since October 7 last year after the Palestinian resistance launched the Al-Aqsa flood operation against Israel’s occupation and genocide.
