Lebanon Denounces Israel’s Aggressive Escalation Against Palestine

During a visit to the northern city of Tripoli, both sides dismissed the recent violation of the Al-Aqsa Mosque by Israeli Interior Minister Itamar Ben Gvir and the threat of an escalation agenda that could escalate the situation into a dangerous confrontation scenario.

In a statement, Hamas and the Lebanese political force reaffirmed the right of the Palestinian people to continue on the path of resistance until liberation, return and restoration of all rights and sanctities.

They called on the Arab League, the Organization for Islamic Cooperation and the international community to work to lift the unfair blockade against the besieged population in Gaza.

At the same time, they stressed the need to address the Palestinian file in Lebanon in all its political, humanitarian, security, social and legal aspects in favor of the interests of the two peoples.

Data from the United Nations Agency for Refugees in the Middle East register more than 210,000 Palestinians in Lebanon in 12 official camps and outside host communities in overcrowded conditions.
