LeBron James fails for the first time in his playoff career in the ENTIRE first quarter as the Lakers take on the Golden State Warriors in Game 3
LeBron James wrote an unfortunate chapter in his career stats when he played for the Lakers against Golden State on Saturday night.
The 38-year-old failed to fire a shot in the first quarter for the first time in his career as his team struggled to return to winning ways in the series against the Warriors.
He finally scored his first points of the night with a 6:32 in the second quarter.
His first field goal came 5:37 from the end of the second quarter and was greeted with generous cheers from Lakers fans at Crypto.com Arena.
Skip Bayless was among the notable voices stunned by James and his poor start to the game.
LeBron James couldn’t get a single shot for the Lakers in the first quarter against the Warriors
While James struggled to get going for the Lakers, the team did better even on Saturday

Ironically, James was practiced shooting five hours before the start of Saturday night’s game.
But James didn’t hold his team back too much in the first half — the Lakers held an 11-point lead at halftime.
And he made a positive piece of history, too. He overtook Kareem Abdul-Jabbar to move up to fifth on the all-time leader for total rebounds in the NBA playoffs.
The series is currently tied 1-1 after two games.
