Before this unfortunate incident, the former Montreal Canadiens was involved in his team’s first goal, scored by defenseman Bowen Byram, by picking up an assist.

The Kraken ultimately won 4-3 thanks to a goal from Oliver Bjorkstrand, his second of the game, with 32 seconds left in the game. Jaden Schwartz and Matthew Beniers are the other Seattle players getting the red light.

In addition to Byram, Nathan MacKinnon and Valeri Nichushkin provided the answer for the Avs.
