Through her social networks, the influencer decided to honor the LGBT+ community and in particular her father Luis Pons, who has been telling his daughter for several years that he identifies as an openly gay man.
Although parental sexuality is still a taboo subject for many at this point, Lele assured that she is very proud of her father, even celebrating his identity and supporting him in every decision he makes.

This wouldn’t be the first time Lele has opened up about her father’s likes, in 2020 the Venezuelan star revealed how the architect opened up to her and confessed this part of his life as part of her documentary The Secret Life of Lele Pons :
“When my father told me he was gay, I was surprised, but I didn’t judge him. I tried to understand it and eventually I got it,” he said.
The most important thing for Pons was to put himself in his father’s shoes and understand his feelings and the reasons that led him to marry his mother, which he says has strengthened their relationship.
