Lenny Hochstein has filed a defamation lawsuit against his estranged wife Lisa Hochstein.
The “Real Housewives of Miami” alum, 57, filed the lawsuit after the 41-year-old reality star posted a photo of a bruise on her arm and implied that he had mistreated her.
According to court documents obtained by , Lenny filed a civil lawsuit on Friday seeking more than $50,000 in damages and legal fees.
In the lawsuit, Lenny denies the abuse allegations and claims Lisa sustained the bruise after she “lost her balance” while walking up the stairs during an argument.

“It came about because [Lisa] As usual, there was yelling and insults [Lenny] When he came home from work, she told him almost every day that he never did anything right [Lenny] tried to leave and went up the stairs and [Lisa] went ahead [him] backing up the stairs so she could continue screaming [his] face and [she] lost his balance and fell onto a staircase,” the filing states.
‘[Lisa’s] Abuse lies are no surprise [Lenny] as [Lisa] publicly stated that she would have to take retaliatory measures [her ex] for what [Lisa] “Assertions are harassment,” the document continues.
‘Still [Lenny] is not harassing [Lisa] but rather present the truth that [Lisa] don’t like.’
Lenny also released a statement about the situation denouncing domestic violence.
“I am against all forms of violence, especially against women.” Domestic violence in intimidating relationships is a serious problem in our society and its victims deserve protection and a safe space to speak out.
“Unfortunately, Lisa has made it her mission to discredit and mock actual victims of domestic violence by taking to posting pictures of a self-inflicted bruise and claiming that I was responsible.”
“I have hired a lawyer and filed a lawsuit to protect myself from this defamation.” “A highly credible forensic pathologist has already examined the case and confirmed that Lisa did not sustain the bruise as a result of an alleged violent altercation.”
In the documents, Lenny also accuses Lisa of cheating on him with her current boyfriend, Jody Glidden, and calls her the “real ‘homeland abuser’ of Miami.”

Last week he denied the claims and insisted he had never physically abused his estranged wife “or any other woman in my life.”
The lawsuit comes just days after Lisa shared a photo on her Instagram Story with a bruise on her arm and a pointed caption.
“I didn’t want to have to share this. But I have no choice,” she wrote on the photo.
“I am being threatened and harassed by Lenny through the court system and by ‘others’ and it must stop.”
“That was almost two weeks since last season. “You may have gotten that bruise in the episode when I told the women on the show about the divorce.”
Lenny denied abusing his estranged wife and claimed in a statement shared exclusively with that Lisa sustained the bruise after falling on a staircase in their home.
Lenny, who has been embroiled in an ugly divorce from Lisa for over a year, also insisted he had never physically abused his estranged wife “or any other woman in my life.”

This isn’t the first time allegations of physical abuse have surfaced during the couple’s bitter divorce proceedings.
In previous court documents, Lenny accused Lisa of pushing and verbally attacking him during an argument at their $10 million Star Island mansion.
Lisa and the plastic surgeon tied the knot in 2009. He filed for divorce from Lisa in October 2022.
In the same month he went public with his girlfriend Katharina Mazepa, to whom he had proposed marriage in July.
Lisa has claimed that Mazepa was Lenny’s “mistress”, which he denied and said they started dating after he and Lisa had already broken up.
Lisa and Lenny share son Logan (8) and daughter Elle (4). In April, Lenny was ordered to pay Lisa $8,000 a month in temporary support.
However, according to Page Six, he filed an emergency motion with the court on August 10 to withdraw his divorce agreement. The ex-partners had previously agreed to the agreement.

In one of the filings, Lenny’s attorney noted that he withdrew the settlement “in anticipation” that Lisa would reject it.
Although his filings suggested that he and Lisa were continuing to work toward a fairer settlement, a source close to the former couple called his recent moves another attempt to harm Lisa by prolonging their grueling divorce proceedings.
The source claimed he withdrew the settlement to prolong the legal process and make them “bankrupt” by mounting legal fees.
They also claimed he tried to get them to sign a new “low-ball” agreement.
