Leonardo DiCaprio advised Timothée Chalamet not to do superhero films

fault Leonardo DiCaprio through dislike Timothy Chalamet to superhero films. In a new interview with Vogue, the Dune star revealed that the Titanic actor was the one who advised him to stay away from the genre.

Last year, Chalamet said one of his idols advised him “not to do hard drugs and not do a heroic movie,” but he declined to reveal the veteran’s name. He has now confirmed DiCaprio’s identity to Vogue.

In the interview, the actor also spoke about his role as Willy Wonka in Wonka, the prequel to Charlie and the Chocolate Factory directed by Paul King. Chalamet defines the film as “very sincere and funny”.

He added that he has seven pieces of music in the film and that playing Wonka gives him a temporary “escape” from his “pretty boring” adult life.

Wonka’s debut is planned for March 17, 2023.
