O singer leonardoaged 59, spoke for the first time since his son Joao Guilherme stated that he was saddened by the fact that he was publicly supporting himself Jair Bolsonaro (PL). The current President was defeated by Luis Inacio Lula da Silva (PT) in the October elections. Father and son have opposing political positions.
This Monday the 28th Leonardo praised his son and pointed out similarities in their personalities.
“I think the Joao Guilherme very sincere. I think he says what he thinks, he’s a damn good boy. They asked if there is anyone who looks a bit like me, he’s kind of guzzled, kind of talkative and comes across as a bit like me. His ideologies, I have nothing to do with them, they’re his, he’s grown up. I support the right things he does, if he does the wrong things I will not support him or anyone else.”
