Marc-André Bergeron’s team got revenge on the team that eliminated them arithmetically 6 to 2 on Friday. With the help of a new goalkeeper, the lions signed this victory.

In his first professional start, William Lavallière blocked 27 shots. That year, the 23-year-old from Montreal played for Chambre HC de Terrebonne, a club in the Quebec Senior AAA Hockey League.

On offense, Cole Gallant scored his first goal in a Trois Rivières jersey, during a five-on-three first-half power play. Matthew Barron added the winner before the end of the engagement by hitting the target on a run with William Lemay.

Captain Cédric Montminy returned after a short absence and scored his side’s third goal with a very precise wrist shot in the second period.

There are only six games left in this 2022-2023 Lions season. On Sunday afternoon they will again cross swords with the Royals.
