Hundreds of properties in Quebec change hands every day, most of them without us knowing the exact details. That was before we became interested… Here are the latest transactions that caught our attention.
A luxurious two-story residence owned by a Swiss man has just sold for $2.2 million on the shores of Lake Saint-Joseph near Quebec.
The property is located at 6019 Route Fossambault in Fossambault-sur-le-Lac, about forty kilometers from Quebec. In addition to a large solarium, the property offers five bedrooms, two bathrooms, two fireplaces, a private beach and a pontoon-like boat on two floors.

The property and part of its development are located in a flood zone and cannot be built upon. Jacques Charles Renevey bought it in November 2019 for $1.3 million.
Less than four years later, it was listed for sale for $2.4 million. A purchase offer of $2.2 million, 70% more than four years earlier, was accepted.
At last appraisal, this residence was valued at $1.31 million. In 2023, municipal taxes will be $13,407. Buyer transfer tax of $31,343 will be added to the purchase price.
