With LG’s latest TV technology, updated webOS and advanced personalization features, LG’s new evo OLED TV is ready to impress.
LAS VEGAS, Jan. 2, 2023 /PRNewswire/ — LG Electronics (LG) has unveiled its 2023 TV models with its most advanced line of OLED TVs yet. Offering exceptional picture quality with auto-lighting, powerful image processing technologies and an enhanced webOS platform that introduces even more intelligent features and services, LG’s latest OLED TVs enhance the viewing experience as only these models can.
Ten years after launching the first-ever big-screen OLED TV, LG continues to dominate the high-end TV market. LG’s industry-leading OLED TVs have won CES Innovation Awards for eleven consecutive years and have evolved over time to provide consumers with ever-increasing value. LG OLED TVs are known for their exceptional picture quality. They produce vivid, accurate colors with deep blacks and offer an infinite contrast ratio for remarkably realistic images.
In addition to developing more immersive viewing experiences, LG’s self-illuminating technology has enabled the company to create TVs with unprecedented and visually striking shapes, including new ones to the market like LG’s rollable SIGNATURE OLED R model and LG’s flexible OLED Flex model . LG’s OLED Flex model received a double award at the CES2023 innovation awards, winning the award for the best innovation in the gaming category.
The latest OLED evo TVs from the Z3, G3 and C3 series form the spearhead of the OLED2023 range. These new and improved models offer superior brightness and color accuracy, as well as impressive clarity and detail, thanks to the precision and performance of LG’s OLED evo technology and LG’s new 6th Gen AI processor.
The latest Alpha Series processor uses LG’s most advanced AI-assisted deep learning technology to ensure exceptional picture and sound quality. The Image IA Pro feature now offers improved scaling for better clarity, as well as superior dynamic tonal reproduction that helps reveal depth and detail in every image. The IA Image Pro feature also includes an image processing technology that recognizes and refines important objects such as faces to give them a more realistic HDR quality. In addition to better fine-tuning of image rendering, the ?9 AI 6th Gen processor supports LG’s SonIA Pro feature, which allows viewers to immerse themselves in the action by providing virtual 9.1.2 surround sound through the sound system and the Stream built-in TV speakers.
Another significant improvement in this year’s OLED evo G3 series is LG’s Maximum Ultrabright Mode, which includes an all-new light control architecture and light amplification algorithms to boost brightness by up to 70%1. Brightness is mapped and controlled pixel by pixel, resulting in sharper, more realistic images.
LG’s G3 OLED evo2023 models also get a cosmetic upgrade with the introduction of a flawless wall design. Leaving no visible space when fixed to the wall, the 2023 models bring style and elegance to the living room.
In addition, LG continues to use its technology leadership to not only develop products and services to improve the quality of life, but LG’s 2023 OLED TVs are designed with the environment in mind. From production to disposal, these products therefore have a sustainable life cycle. LG’s OLED TVs don’t have a backlight unit, meaning each TV uses fewer materials than a typical LED TV. Plus, many components are made from recycled plastic, and the TVs even ship in eco-friendly packaging made from recyclable materials and printed in one color. Easier on the eyes, all LG OLED2023 TVs are certified Low Blue Light by TV Rheinland and Flicker-Free by UL Solutions.
LG OLED TVs continue to offer a refreshed and more personalized user experience in 2023. With the latest version of webOS, the 2023 models have a new homepage, a revamped user interface that offers a wealth of customization options and more convenience than ever. The new Quick Cards give users easy access to the content and services they use most. These cards are all grouped into logical categories like Home Office, Games, Music, and Sports. LG’s more sophisticated webOS allows all TV users to enjoy personalized recommendations tailored to their own preferences, which are determined based on viewing history and habits.
To further personalize the user experience, the LG OLED TV comes with the AI Concierge feature, which provides each user with a list of curated content choices based on their past usage and searches, giving them a selection of trending content to browse through.
LG OLED TVs are designed to deliver premium home theater experiences and continue to support the picture and sound enhancement features of Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos. In addition, LG 2023 TVs are fully compatible with LG’s latest soundbars, which deliver exceptional IMAX-quality multi-channel surround sound enhanced with DTS:X. Together, the LG TV and soundbar also offer WOW Orchestra3 functionality, which uses the audio channels of both products to deliver louder, more immersive sound.
As expected, LG’s OLED2023 models support a variety of features compatible with the HDMI2.1a standard. They are also the first TVs to be certified by the HDMI organization for the recently announced Quick Media Switching VRR (QMS-VRR) technology. This technology can eliminate the temporary black screen that sometimes occurs when playing content from various devices connected through the TV’s HDMI2.1a ports4.
LG Auto-Light OLED TVs are the ultimate gaming displays, offering 0.1ms response time, low input lag and up to four HDMI2.1a ports. LG OLED TVs are also equipped with Game Optimizer that allows users to select game features such as: B. Display presets by game genre, and quickly switch between them. Settings for G-SYNC® support, FreeSync™ Premium technology and Variable Refresh Rate (TRV) are easily accessible in Game Optimizer.
