The colors of the rainbow shine this Sunday (31st) on Mosqueiro Island in Belém during the 15th edition of the LGTIQA+ Parade. The event, which is actually a manifestation for the struggle and defense of human rights, justice, citizenship and respect for the population of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transvestite, transgender, transgender, queen, intersex and other denominations, representing the diversity of orientations represent sexually. About 100,000 people are expected to take part in the movement.
The focus of the event is on Eurido Romariz street, next to the small church Chapéu Virado, which starts at 12 noon.

According to Pará’s LGBTI+ movement, the Mosqueiro parade is one of the largest in the state and has not been held for two years due to the most critical time of the Covid19 pandemic.
The return of the demonstration on the island will also take a different route than in previous years, leaving Chapéu Virado and going to Praça do Aeroporto, where singer Eloy Iglesias will perform.

“We also want to invite people to our event, which before it becomes festive is a fight to defend the social rights of the LGBTQI+ public,” said Mellannie Marques, coordinator of the parade.
