Liga 1 2023: Can the ball roll?

Liga 1 2023 Can the ball roll

The Peruvian soccer fan’s question of where to watch his favorite team’s matches could be resolved in the next few hours.

The Peruvian Football Confederation applied to the Seventh Commercial Court of the Lima Supreme Court to modify the precautionary measure presented before the judiciary a few weeks ago to suspend the effects of a contract signed between the League 1 clubs and the Consorcio Fútbol Perú (GolPerú).

In the document submitted to the judicial authority, the national football regulator asked for the text of the judgment to be expanded to clarify its scope in relation to the tournament’s broadcasting rights.

According to FPF’s request, the interim measure must now contain the following additional text: “The suspension of legal acts ordered by the interim measure always takes place if the parties do not have the express authorization or consent of the FPF. In the event that the federal government has given the appropriate authorization and/or approval, the legal acts carried out are fully effective and valid.

The institution based its request on the alleged “misinformation of public opinion” by the co-defendants (Peru Football Consortium) regarding the 2023 Premier League matches, which would or would not be televised. The FPF’s request would be to clarify that teams with an ongoing contract can transfer their games to GolPerú and that in the event of a failure, this will be resolved through the appropriate channel.

After postponing the opening day of the competition scheduled for this Saturday January 21st, the organization of League 1 confirmed that the championship will now start this Friday January 27th with date 2. The first game is Deportivo Binacional vs. ADT.

Will the eight clubs who decided not to play in League 1 present themselves if the precautionary measure is not lifted? Although a change to this is requested, it can be a big step for the tournament to go ahead as normal.

Ayacucho in battle

Ayacucho FC continues to fight hard to remain in the first division. Now the Ayacucho-based team has announced that it has appealed to the TAS against the licensing court’s decision that granted Sport Boys the A license.

Los Zorros explains that the Licensing Court “repealed the decision finding that the boys had failed to present the trust specified in the Licensing Ordinance as a condition for the maintenance of the exceptional sports regime, and also imposed as a sanction the refusal of License A take part in the 2023 championship.

The request is clear
