Between June 16th and 19th, the week’s major release grossed more than R$12 million at the country’s box office, while the feature film took the starring role Tom cruise amounted to R$ 11.5 million.
The top 5 domestic box office included Jurassic World: Dominion at R$11.45 million, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness at R$1.08 million and the latest starring film Liam Neeson“Assassino Sem Tratro”, which grossed just over R$ 284,000.
“Lightyear” is a scifi adventure that follows the legendary Space Ranger, Buzz Lightyear, after being dumped along with its commander and crew on a hostile planet 4.2 million lightyears from Earth. While buzz tries to find a way back home through space and time, a group of ambitious recruits and the charming robotic cat as companion, sox, join the hero. To complicate the situation, backan imposing figure, and his army of ruthless robots arrive on the planet with a mysterious obligation.
