Lil Keed’s cause of death was attributed by Los Angeles doctors to natural causes as a result of eosinophilia.
People reported the cause of death Tuesday after reviewing the Los Angeles County coroner’s dismissal.
The music artist, who was linked to Young Thug’s YSL Records, died on May 13, 2022 at the age of 24, hours after being admitted to Burbank Hospital for stomach and back pain.

According to the Mayo Clinic, the disease is one in which patients have “higher than normal levels of eosinophils,” which are “a type of disease-fighting white blood cell.”
“This condition most often indicates a parasitic infection, an allergic reaction, or cancer.”
Medical officials said in the coroner’s report that the underlying cause of the condition was not clear.
In the report verified by the outlet, officials said the rap artist said he needed to be hospitalized for “stomach and back pains” around 7:30 p.m. local time on the evening of May 13.

The musician, whose real name was Rahqid Render, had been “sick in bed for 4 days and complained of stomach and back pain” and “his brother noticed that [his] Eyes became jaundiced and drove him to the hospital in a private vehicle.’
On the way to a nearby hospital, Lil Keed had a seizure and then became unresponsive. He died at the medical facility later that night at 10:14 p.m.
Lil Keed previously had a stay at a Georgia hospital after suffering a stomach ache and subsequently “went against medical advice and did not seek follow-up care,” according to the coroner’s report.
According to the coroner, the rap artist regularly consumed alcohol and smoked from a vape pen. According to his relatives, he was not a drug user and had no other medical problems.

After his death, his brother Lil Gotit took to Instagram with a memorial to his sibling.
“I can’t believe I saw you die today bro I’ve done all my screams. I know what you want from me and this is hard on Mama Daddy, our brothers Naychur and Whiteboy,” he said alongside a photo of them together.
Lil Keed’s friend Quana Bandz, the mother of his daughter Naychur, said: “I love you sooooo much baby what to do without you I can’t breathe properly sleep nothing I don’t even want to talk to nobody wanted that I can’t take it.’
