Lily Allen showed off her glamorous sense of style on Tuesday when she performed at the Duke of York Theater in London after starring in her new play The Pillowman.
The 38-year-old star looked elegant in a bright red semi-sheer off-the-shoulder dress by Philosophy by Lorenzo Serafini as she walked down the street in the British capital.
Pop star Lily’s garment featured a plunging neckline with ruched detailing at the top of the dress.
The skirt part reached to the floor and was provided with loose ruffles, whereby the fabric was partially transparent.
Actress Lily carried a Christian Louboutin clutch bag in a bolder shade of red as she headed out to the evening.

After receiving critical acclaim for her West End debut in 2:22 A Ghost Story, Lily has proven she is keen on staying in the world of theater by landing a role in Martin’s first major competitor McDonagh’s award-winning Olivier play takes over.
In a role where Lily covers her face in blood, The Pillowman will only run for a limited time, ending in early September.
The website states: “In a totalitarian state, a writer is being questioned by the authorities over a series of murders that bear similarities to her short stories.” Is this life imitating art, or is it something more sinister?

Lily is the first woman to take on the lead role of Katurian in the revival of the 2003 play about the novelist held captive by a totalitarian state.
Alongside Steve Pemberton, who plays Tupolski, and Matthew Tennyson, who plays Michael, Lily plays the role that David Tennant played twenty years earlier.
Of the decision to cast a woman in the role, Lily told The Telegraph, “I think that’s going to add to the horror because we’re not used to seeing women get beat up.”
“In that sense, it’s going to be shocking.” I also feel that men don’t necessarily get the same credit for their artistic achievement as women do.”

The Pillowman follows Katurian as she is brutally questioned by authorities after a string of murders bears similarities to her short stories.
This comes after Lily revealed that she has written musical versions of Black Mirror and Bridget Jones’s Diary.
Speaking on BBC Radio, Lily said: “I wrote the musical for Bridget Jones’ Diary and it hasn’t happened yet – maybe one day it will.”
“I also did a stage adaptation of an episode of Black Mirror that was also sold to someone. It just hasn’t happened yet, but the music is done.”
